Palmetto Health Spine Center
With golf season in full swing, our Spine Center offers tips for preventing golf injuries.
Featuring a team-based diagnostic approach from experienced spine specialists in the Midlands, the new Palmetto Health Spine Center offers immediate treatment for acute back pain. The only back-pain specialty center in the area, we’re located on the Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge campus in a facility with the latest technologies to get you safely back to your active lifestyle.
We offer next-day appointments and treatment beginning with your first visit using the least-invasive methods indicated to meet your needs. Our combination of physical therapy and pain management allow most people to effectively manage their acute back pain without surgery. Click here for more information.
Earlier this month, on behalf of our nearly 11,000 team members, physicians and volunteers, Palmetto Health CEO Chuck Beaman accepted the 2014 Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service in Washington, DC. The award, given by the American Hospital Association and the Baxter International Foundation, honors one hospital in the country that exemplifies caring in their community. We are honored to receive this recognition.
Since Palmetto Health was created in 1998, we have committed an annual tithe – 10 percent of our bottom line – to the community. To date, we have invested more than 50 million dollars to serve tens of thousands of people and to fund critically needed health care programs and services for the indigent, the uninsured and the medically underserved people in the Midlands.
