High School Monthly Job Shadowing
To support students enrolled in health science majors within our local high schools, specific dates have been assigned during the school year. During this one-time educational experience, 10th-12th grade students observe/job shadow a health professional while he/she performs normal work activities. Individual Job Shadowing
During this one-time educational experience, students observe/job shadow a health professional while he/she performs normal work activities. Students may observe/job shadow up to 16 hours; however, they may not perform direct patient care. To download online registration instructions, please click here. Non-paid Internship
This program provides a hands-on learning experience and generally lasts several weeks or a semester whereby  students participate in specific tasks under the direct supervision of a health professional in order to earn academic credits which  align with course objectives. Graduate Assistantship: A graduate assistantship is offered to students who are selected while enrolled in a master's degree curriculum (i.e. MHA, MPH, MBA, etc.). The student is required to fulfill a work-related experience/project in order to meet academic competencies. Students may be assigned to a specific department for one or more semesters. Administrative Residency: The main focus of the administrative residence is to provide a practical understanding of and appreciation for the interrelationships between the clinical and administrative operational system within a hospital setting. Students enrolled in a master's level curriculum will have opportunities to develop administrative skills through interaction with upper management while assisting with major business projects.
