Healing Waters at Palmetto Health, located on the Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge campus, now is open to the community. Healing Waters is a 6,931 square-foot facility offering spa, aesthetics, plastic surgery and wellness services. The spa offers traditional services and treatments, including anti-aging Pure MD® facials, massage therapy and Healing Waters’ body rituals. Other services include medical aesthetic procedures, such as Botox and dermal fillers; plastic surgery procedures including both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery; and wellness activities.

Plastic surgeon Peter Haines, M.D., is the medical director. In addition to Haines, Healing Waters employs more than 25 team members, including registered nurses, aestheticians, estheticians, and massage therapists. In the coming weeks, hospital patients cared for at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge will be offered complimentary therapeutic services such as massage during their stay.

Part of the Affordable Care Act and sometimes known as the health insurance “exchange,” the Health Insurance Marketplace helps people find health coverage.
