HealthWorks Lab Express offers affordable laboratory testing to patients who know what lab tests they need in order to monitor their health. No doctor's order, appointment or insurance is required. Patients simply choose from a menu of laboratory tests and receive the confidential results by mail.

Blood Type (ABO and RH) — $25
Determines your blood group and what type of blood or blood components you can safely receive.
C-reactive Protein (hs-CRP) — $25
Assesses the risk of cardiovascular disease or the presence of inflammation.
Cholesterol: Lipid Profile (total, HDL & LDL cholesterol, triglycerides) — $22
Determines if you have abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels. These are important in screening for coronary heart disease risk. A 12-hour fast is recommended.
Cholesterol: Total Cholesterol — $10
Important in determining your risk factor for heart and vascular disease. A 12-hour fast is recommended.
Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (16 tests) — $25
Measures your blood sugar level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function and liver function. This panel gives you or your doctor a clearer picture of your overall health. An eight-hour fast is recommended.
Complete Blood Count with Differential. $15
Provides important information about the kind and number of cells in your blood, especially red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Physicians use this information to evaluate symptoms, help diagnose conditions and treat certain illnesses.
Glucose — $10
Monitors blood glucose level for patients who may have diabetes, low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) or high-blood glucose (hyperglycemia). An eight-hour fast is recommended.
Glycosylated Hemoglobin (Hgb A1C) — $20
Used in the care of people who have diabetes. The percentage is a way of looking at your average blood sugar control over the past two or three months. It also is used to diagnose diabetes.
Hepatitis B Immune Status — $30
Test to show evidence of immunity to the Hepatitis B virus.
Iron Profile (iron level and iron binding capacity) — $20
Determines if there is too little or too much iron in the blood.
Potassium — $10
Measures the amount of potassium in the blood. Potassium aids in muscle contraction and in maintaining the balance of fluids and electrolytes in the body’s cells.
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) — $40
Preliminary screening for the possibility of prostate cancer.
Prothrombin Time (PT) — $20
Measures how long it takes for blood to clot. It is generally used to detect bleeding problems, monitor people taking blood thinning medication, or for pre-surgical workups.
Quantiferon Gold TB Blood Test — $80
Blood test to detect infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria which causes tuberculosis (TB). An alternative to the tuberculin skin test.
Thyroid Profile (T4, TSH) — $35
Measures thyroid function, which plays an important role in regulating your metabolism.
Vitamin D — $25
Reflects the total amount of vitamin D in the body to determine if bone weakness, bone malformation or abnormal metabolism of calcium is occurring.
Vitamin B12 — $25
Measures the amount of vitamin B12 in the blood. It is an important vitamin for many basic bodily functions, such as brain health, blood cell production and proper nerve functioning.
