We develop a research-based multidisciplinary treatment plan with you at the first visit. Our team of physical therapists, behavioral health specialists and interventional pain management specialists work together to get you safely back to your active lifestyle as soon as possible. Located on the Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge campus, we serve Columbia, Lexington, Irmo and the greater Midlands region of South Carolina.

Our services

We offer conservative, non-surgical interventional procedures, such as:

  • Epidural injections
  • Joint injections
  • Spinal cord stimulators
  • Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks

Our on-site physical therapy treatment options include:

  • Pain treatment for neuro-musculoskeletal conditions covering the back, neck and joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle)
  • Headache care of cervicogenic and tension-pain from the neck and/or around the head
  • Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) treatment, for jaw pain and/or clicking
  • Neuromuscular impairment care for geriatric syndromes, balance and gait (walking) difficulties
  • Care for problems not resolved through conventional therapy

Behavioral health care we feature on-site:

  • Pain management strategies
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness-based stressed reduction (MBSR)
  • Relaxation and biofeedback

We offer non-opioid (non-narcotic) medication options for chronic pain conditions. If indicated, referral for surgical consultation is available. 

Our Medical Director

Amit Singh, DO

Amit Singh, DO, Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine

Dr. Singh received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He underwent his internship at Plainview Hospital in Plainview, New York and completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Medicine fellowship at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Singh is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has previously served as the Chief of Pain Management and Medical Director of the Outpatient Interdisciplinary Pain Program at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VAMC in Columbia, SC.

Dr. Singh is a member of the following:

  • International Association for the Study of Pain
  • American Board of Anesthesiology
