Palmetto Health Rehabilitative Services provides inpatient and outpatient care for children and adults of all ages, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology.
Delivered by our compassionate team of professionals, we offer rehabilitative services for a wide variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiac diseases and injuries, as well as arthritis, amputation and any other illness affecting functional ability.
Speech Language Pathology
To care for children who have experienced a debilitating injury or neurological illness, we have assembled a committed team of skilled physical, occupational and speech-language therapists, all of whom specialize in the treatment of infants and toddlers. Whether the goal is to enhance cognitive, physical, language or social progress, our team will develop an individualized plan for each child and family.
The Palmetto Health Rehabilitation Center cares for patients who are recovering from surgery, injury or illness and no longer need medical care, but are not able to function safely at home. Our caring rehabilitative staff helps patients receive the physical therapy necessary to make the transition to life at home. Close to Palmetto Health’s acute care services, active rehabilitation begins when patients arrive at the Palmetto Health Rehabilitation Center and they can be immediately transferred back to the hospital’s acute care unit if needed.
